Today was our annual Haymarket Day Parade. Every year we attend this event, usually because one of the kids is in the parade, but also because we love the down-home, small town feel of it all. Gavin and I rode on the 4 R's wagon and on the parade route we saw 5 or 6 families that we knew. This year they had a cowboy theme for the preschool and all the kids wore bandannas and cowboy hats and sang "Deep in the Heart of Texas" for the judges. Jeremy and the other two watched from along the street and Cameron grabbed enough thrown candy for us to give it out for Halloween. It's always such a treat to be a part of the festivities and a good time was had by all!
